It is wonderful when a collector does something completely unexpected with one of Jorge's works. Check out the beautiful placing of "Garden Thinker." The collector and her architect came up with this beautiful green idea, resulting in a wonderful contrast between the industrial characteristics of Jorge's work and the plants surrounding the sculpture. The art collector, fascinated by this public-artwork, requested a smaller version for her home's beautiful garden.
During a road trip in Virginia, I stopped by the City of Norfolk to visit one of my public artworks, Go Bongo, installed in 2014. I was happy to see that it looks great, even though the dog's "lead" was missing and someone place a sticker on its body. This work is installed in the Ghent Station area, across from a Fresh Market and on a street with many thriving businesses. The first image was taken in 2014, the one below in July 2021.
